Bacteriological Studies On Ornithobacterium Rhinotracheale (Ort) In Chickens

This study was carried out for studying Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale infection at different aged chickens and also at different seasons.Samples were collected from chickens suffering from respiratorymanifestation. Eighty four isolates were isolated from 560 samples collectedfrom various organs with isolation rate 1 S% . The samples include 40 trachea with isolation rate 7.140/0, 35 brain (6.25%), 7 lung (1.25%) and 2 air sacs (0.36%).Samples were collected at different seasons. 31 samples were collected in winter with isolation rate (5.53%), 23 samples in Spring 4.11%), 14 samples in Summer (2.5%) and 16 samples in Autumn (2.86%). ORT was isolated at different ages (1-20 days and abov
