Abstract:
This work was designed to study the clinical and biochemical changes of red urine in cattle, 1101 animals were used in this study from a period extend from July 2005 to June 2008.These animals were classified according to their localities, feeding, and history of voiding red urine as well as response to previous treatment into two groups:Group Ι:This group includes 941 animals (625 cattle and 316 buffaloes), aging from 2 to 12 years, from villages around kafr sakr-Sharkia governorate, these animals were fed on barseem as a main ration in addition to tibn and some concentrates. It was found that 7from clinical symptoms and laboratory examination of blood and urine it was found that 16 cattle (2.56%) and 8 buffaloes (2.53%) were hypophos- phataemic and 30 cattle (4.8%) and 12 buffaloes (3.79%) were found to be affected with babesia, while 4 cattle 1-Hypophosphatemia:The affected cattle and buffaloes were non pregnant, pregnant or.
