Abstract:
Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is a highly contagious and devastating disease that affects all species of cloven-hoofed animals. The disease is recognised by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) as a major constraint to international trade. It cauIn Egypt, routine prophylactic vaccination has been conducted with a locally produced serotype A and O vaccine in animals all over the provinces of Egypt.
