Abstract:
Hydatidosis is the mtacestode of Echniococcus granulosus transferred from dog to human and farm animals and it considered a public health problem.In abattoir, diagnosis of camels meat and internal organs for detection of hydatid cyst by intradermal skin test (Casoni’s) before slaughtering. Take blood samples from camels before slaughter and examined by indirect hemagglutination test to establish thdosing it by anthelmentic to avoid natural infection and to know thetime required for growth and development of the worm in the intestine of dogs and time of shedding eggs or segments in the environment,then use available drugs to treat dogs and known it’s efficiency on theworm. It was found that the rate of infection in camel slaughtered inabattoir was 33.1 % in all camels. Male camels 5 year show 13.10/0prevalence, female camels 5 year show 11.1 %, male camel 5 yearshow 42.5% and female camels> 5 year show 35.7% .•
