Abstract:
Recently, medicinal plants and herbs are considered as ~ big,effective, cheap safe and available source which possess valuabletherapeutic importance for many diseases condition. Therefore, ourmotivation of garlic, onion, oregano, and fenugreek therapy is toevaluate their effect as growth promoters, hypoglycemic,hypocholesterolemic feed additives in poultry ration, carcassescharacteristics and immune response.Experiment (I):A total number of 96 Japanese quails ”one day old” were usedin this study they were purchased from the faculty of Agriculture ofAI- Azhar Cairo University on arrival they were reared together for2 weeks, then they were weight and randomly divided into 4 equalgroups each group contain 24 birds each group was subdivided into3 replicates each one contain 8 birds. Group fed control diet, groupfed, diet supplemented with 2, 3 and 4% garlic respectively.productive performance (body weight, feed intake and feedconversion ratio (FCR», some serum metabolites (glucose, totalcholesterol, triglycerides, HDL-C, LDL-C, VLDL-C, total protein,albumin and globulin ), activity of some liver enzymes (AST andAL T), some lymphoid organs ’(bursa and spleen), leukocytic count(total and differential leukocytic count)as well as their effect oncarcass traits and meat quality directly after slaughter and byfreezing.
