Abstract:
Avian Mycoplasmosis is considered a major economic Problem, M. gallisepticum is the most important Mycoplasa pathogen affecting commercial poultry flocks contributing in infection designated as chronic respiratory disease of chicken, therefore accurate anIn this study 450 samples have been collected from chickens of different sexes, ages and breeds 60 apparently healthy chicken and 90 diseased chicken. They were 60 air sacs, trachea and lung from apparently healthy chicken and 90 air sac, trachea and lungThe percentage of isolation of Mycoplasma was 18.3% from apparently healthy chicken with isolation rate 28.3%, 16.6% and 10% from air sac, trachea and lung, respectively, and from diseased chicken was 35.18% with isolation rate 46.6%, 33.3% and 25.5% fromAlso, biochemical and serological identification has been done for the isolated Mycoplasma and 17.7% of the apparently healthy chicken, 0.5% M. gallinarum and there is no M. inners, and from diseased chicken 33.7% were M. gallisepticum 1% M. gallinarum an
