This work was planned in order to study various aspects of rabbit toxoplasmosis including:1- Seroprevalence of Toxoplasma antibodies among naturally infected rabbits under extensive and intensive management systems.2-Isolation of Toxoplasma gondii oocysts from soil of traditional rabbit houses.3-Serological study of experimentally infected rabbits using three different tests. Namely latex agglutination, indirect haemagglutination and modified agglutination tests as diagnostic tools of toxoplasmosis in rabbits.4- Pathological effects of experimental toxoplasmosis on pregnant female rabbits at different stages of pregnancy, non pregnant females and adult males as well as on young rabbits.
