Abstract:
The present study was carried out to show the differentchromosomal aberrations associated with repeat breeder, anestrum,freemartinism, retained placenta, vaginal prolapse and habitual abortion inHolstein-Friesian cattle.A total 90 healthy Holstein-Friesian cows aged form 3-8 years andweighing form 300-800 kg from different farms located at El-Sharkiaprovince. The animals were classified into 7 groups as follows:-Group A: - Consists of 20 normal cyclic cows and showing normalreproductive history.Group B: - Consists of 22 Holstein - Friesian lactating cowssuffering from ovarian follicular cysts with a history of repeat breedersGroup C: - Consists of 18 Holstein - Friesian lactating cowssuffering from luteal cysts with a history of anestrum.Group D: - Consists of 8 Holstein - Friesian heifers which born Co-twin to male.Group E: - Consists of 10 Holstein - Friesian cows affected withretained placenta.Group F: - Consists of 8 Holstein - Friesian cows suffering fromfrequently prolapsed vagina.Group G: - Consists of 4 Holstein-Friesian heifers suffering fromhabitual abortion.
