Developmental Behaviour of Dogs

This study was carried out in security and guarding dog training center ,belonging to Ministry of Interior, Cairo, Egypt .This work includes the following heading:-A- Reproductive behaviour of bitcha- Parturient behaviour:i - Pre- parturient stage(1)The mean frequency of urination and defecation were higher in bitch were housed in a kennel than that were housed in open yard while the mean frequency of eating and lying down were higher of bitches in open yard than bitches in kennel but body temperai i - Parturient stage(2) The mean time (min.) for expelling puppy was higher in bitches which were housed in open yard than in bitches of kennel during the second stage of whelping.i i i - Post parturient stage(3) The mean time (sec.) puppy will be still in its own placental membrane, shedding of placenta (min.) and time spent in licking (sec) were higher in bitches which were housed in open yard than bitches were housed in kennel during post parturient stage b
