Abstract:
This study was planned to evaluate the effect of hormonal status on the susceptibility of some pathogenic microorganisms to antibiotics. Isolated strains of Gram-positive (St.aphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Arcobacterium pyogenes and BacillusIn this study, in vitro sensitivity test was carried out on some Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and the results proved that tested strains of E. coli was highly sensitive to gentamicin followed by ciprofloxacin than cefotaxime and highly resistaConcerning the in vitro sensitivity of S. typhimurium, the results showed that gentamicin was the most effective one followed by cefotaxime and ciprofloxacin and it is highly resistant to lincomycm, erythromycin, ampicillin and amoxycillin. As regard K. pneumoniae strains, the results showed that gentamicin was the most effective antibiotic followed by ciprofloxacin and cefotaxime and it is highly resistant to ampicillin, amoxycillin, lincomycin and rifamycin. The results of in vitro sensitivity test of P. aeruginosa showed that gentamicin was the most effective antibiotic followed byciprofloxacin and cefotaxime and it is highly resistant to ampicillin, amoxicillin, cephal exine and erythromycin.
