The infection rates forTheileriosis in El-bieomy farm, Sekam farm, Marrwad farm andZagazig veterinary clinic were 2.7 %,17.6%, zero% and 22.6%respectively, meanwhile The infection rates for Babesiosis in thesame localities were zero%, 58.8%, 88.9% and 0.5%.The clinical picture of Piroplasmosis varied from the acute to latentform. The most prominent clinical symptoms that recorded in thisstudy for tropical Theileriosis were high fever, enlargement of thesuperficial lymph nodes especially the prescapular and prefemorallymph nodes, Eye affection, conjunctivitis, photophobia, cornealopacity and ocular and nasal discharges were observed. ForBabesiosis the Clinical picture was high fever, sever anemia,. discoloration and paleness ofvaginal& ocular mucus membranes thenbecame Icteric with yellow discoloration and general weakness .The age susceptibility was low in young age group less than 1 year(5.9% and 1.4%) for Theileriosis and Babesiosis respectively, whilethe age group of 1-5 years showed the highest susceptibility (36.6%and 15.9%) for Theileriosis and Babesiosis respectively.
