Abstract:
In this investigation , one thousand, seven hundred and thirty seven chicks of different breeds, with an average age 1-21 days-old either freshly dead or diseased were collected from some localities at Sharkia Governorate. These chicks were subjected to cThe examined chicks showed clinical signs in the form of depression, huddling together, closed eyes, droopy wings, ruffled feathers, reduction of feed intake, increased water consumption, profuse watery diarrhea soiled vent and vent feathers. Meanwhile, tTwenty -one salmonella isolates were isolated during this study, with an incidence 1.2%.
