Abstract:
There were many studies take place on the effect of different classesof growth factors on growth or cells and body developments, but they notin their mind the natural sources of the growth factors. So, this researchwas planed to study the effect of indicated certain natural growth factors are whey protein, silymarin and brewer’s yeast.A total of 150 male wistar rats, 120 ± 10 gm / B. W. were used. Therats under study, were accommodated at the animal house in faculty of Vet.Medicine, Zagazig University for 15 days before the experiment. Animalswere kept at constant environmental and nutritional conditions during theexperimental periods and were living on their food and water ad- libitum.The rats were classified into equal five groups as follows:Group I (control group): Rats were received normal saline 1.5 ml dailyfor eight weeks.Group 11 (whey protein group): The animals were received freshlyprepared whey protein, in a dose 360 mg / 100 gm B.W.dissolved in 1.5 III I normal saline daily for eight weeks.Group III (silymarin group): Rats were taken silymarin in a dose 5 mg /100 gm B. W. suspended in 1.5 normal saline. daily for eightweeks.
