Studies On Candida Albicans Isolated from Healthy And Diseased Birds

Three hundred and fifty chickens of Hubbard breed their ages was 45 days. Two hundred cases were suspected to have candidiosis by clinical signs. Sixty four strains of yeasts were isolated with an incidence 32%.One hundred and fifty healthy chickens were subjected to mycological examination. Thirty six strains of yeasts were isolated with an incidence 24%.The birds were subjected to mycological examination and isolates were further identified by conventional confirmatory tests.
