Abstract:
A group of 20 puppies were vaccinated with live attenuated CA V-I vaccine and another 20 puppies were vaccinated with the inactivatedvaccine. Specific CAV-1antibodies were monitored in 10 puppies (vaccinated with the live attenuated vaccine) weekly up to 3 weeks post vaccination then up to 4 weeks post challenge and the same thing wasdone with 10 puppies vaccinated with the inactivated vaccine. It was noticeable that all vaccinated puppies did not show any abnormal clinical signs post vaccination except one puppy vaccinated with the live attenuated vaccine showed corneal opacity by th
