A group of 20 puppies were vaccinated with live attenuated CA V-I vaccine and another 20 puppies were vaccinated with the inactivatedvaccine. Specific CAV-1antibodies were monitored in 10 puppies (vaccinated with the live attenuated vaccine) weekly up to 3 weeks post vaccination then up to 4 weeks post challenge and the same thing wasdone with 10 puppies vaccinated with the inactivated vaccine.
