Prevalence of Bacteria Causing Mastitis in Relation to Herd Production

Three dairy cattle farms (2 farms at Sharkia govemorate and one farm at Suez governorate) were investigated during a period of one year for determination the incidence of clinical mastitis. The isolated E.coli was serotyped and examined genetically for dehind quarters with a total of 189 (66%) affected quarter than front quarters 97 (34%). 4- Among the affected cows with clinical mastitis, 164 (69.20%) had one affected quarter, 42 (17.72%) had two affected quarters, 22 (9.28%) had three affected quarters
