Characterization of Salmonella Species Isolated from Sheep Using Recent Techniques

Salmonellosis is primarily a zoonotic disease and intervention is possible at any stage from farm to human . As it is well known, Salmonella has a wide range of host food animals .Salmonella infections in sheep have been recorded in most countries of the world. Diarrhoea of sheep and abortion in ewes is the main cause of economic losses through poor growth and mortality.Therefore the aim of this work was planned to discuss the isolation and identification of the causative agent.
