Abstract:
Chlormaphenicol, the first broad spectrum antibiotic to be discovered has broad spectrum of activity against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Florfenicol is a novel structure analogue of chloramphenicol, it differs from chloramphenicol by thEscherichia coli (E. coli) affects poultry industry causing major economic losses achieved by high morbidity and mortality, loss of body weight and decrease egg production.
