Evaluation of Recent Prophylactic Measures Against E. Coli and Coccidiosis in Chickens

This study was carried to evaluate recent prophylactic measures against E.coli infection and coccidiosis in chickens using highly sensitive antibiotic (Norfloxacine), Diclazuril as recent prophylactic drug and vaccination with recently produced vaccines iThe results revealed :1 Birds which vaccinated with E.coli vaccine at 14 day old and treated with Levamisole Hcl (group 2), the protection percent were significantly increased than in birds which vaccinated only with E.coli vaccine at 14 day old (group 4) . Avery highly signif2- Birds which received Norfloxacine with Levamisole Hcl (group 6), the protection percent was significantly increased than in birds which received Norfloxacine only (group 8). Avery highly significant increase in the results obtained than control groups.3- On the other hand, vaccinated birds with coccivac-B at 1 day old and treated with Levamisole Hcl as immuno-stimulant (group 2), the protection percent was significantly increased than in birds vaccinated only with coccivac-B at 1 day old (group 4) .
