Abstract:
A great attention in Egypt was payed towards quail culturing during the few last decades for the production of meat of good quality. But it was objected with some troubles representing in methods of management, hygiene and serious disease conditions causing quail mortalities. E. coli is one of these causes. So we must :1- Isolating this causative bacterial agents (E.coli).2- Then identificate it.3- Testing this agent (E.coli) to different chemotherapeutic discs to identify more sensitive one.So 150 samples were randomly collected at different ages and different seasons. (46) samples were collected from Faculty of Agriculture Farm “Zagazig University”. (21) samples from Faculty of Agriculture Farm “El-Menofia University”. (22) samples from MinThese samples were subjected for bacteriological investigation to obtained that 48 isolates (32%) were E.coli all ove the year, 19 isolates (38%) in Autumn, 17 isolates (42.5%), in winter, 5 isolates (16.6%) in spring and 7 isolates (43.3%) in summer. So A disc diffusion technique was done to study the antibiotic sensitivity pattern of this causative agent (E.coli in vetro by using 8 antibiotics:Viz: Amoxycillin 53.7%Colstin 31.25%Doxycycllin 81.25%Enrofloxacin 83.3%Erythromycin 8.3%Florafeinicol 75%Gentamycin 87.9%Linco-spectin 75%
