Abstract:
Camel is an animal of considerable importance in Egypt since it IS one of the major sources of meat production where its meat represents 66.460/0 of the total meat obtained from the imported animals for slaughter purposes. Also it has a great value among animals in the same arid zones. Wool, hair and hides are also ofimportance in addition, the camels gained a special \l’nportance andattention, owing to its ability and habit to survive in the difficultcondition during severe prolonged drought strikes when other animalscease to produce or die out.Biochemical analysis of blood can often provide valuable information concerning health and sickness. This work represents an effort to describe some data concerning blood of dromedary camels at different age, sex and seasons. A total of 120 male and femalstudy which were obtained from Bilbeis Abattoir, Zagazig Abattoir and some private camel farms in Bilbeis distributed in Sharkia province.
