This study compares the possible deleterious effects of both ciprofloxacin and gatifloxacin on pregnant rats and developing foeti during both the gestation and suckling periods.I - Effects on dams and developing foeti:-Administration of drugs for 5 consecutive days to pregnant dams during foetal period provoked a decrease in the placental weight & body weight gain on the 20th day of pregnancy.
