Abstract:
The present work was performed to investigate the effect of amoxicillin or amoxiclav in therapeutic dose for treatment of broiler chicks infected with E.coli ,body weight, weight gain ,gain percent food consumption ,feed conversion rate as well as their eThis research was held on one hundred and fifty one day old broiler chicks.broiler chicks were divided into 6 equal groups (each of 25 broiler chicks)as the following:1st Group :Non-infected and non-treated broiler chicks (control groups).2nd Group: Non-infected broiler chicks and treated with therapeutic dose of amoxicillin (20mg/kg for five consecutive days in drinking water)3rd Group:Non-infected broiler chicks and treated with therapeutic dose of amoxiclav (20mg/kg for five consecutive days in drinking water).4th Group: Infected and non treated broiler chicks5th Group: Infected and treated with therapeutic dose of amoxicillin (20mg/kg for five consecutive days in drinking water).6th Group: Infected and treated with therapeutic dose of amoxiclav (20mg/kg for five consecutive days in drinking water).
