Abstract:
The effect of different dietary sources and levels of fiber inclusion (wheat bran , rice bran ,barley) on performance and immune response in broiler chickens was done to study.Experiment birdsOne hundred and ninety five, day old un-sexed broiler chickens (Hubbard) were purchased from El- Mansoura Poultry Company. On arrival they were leg banded, weighed and randomly divided into equal thirteen groups each contain fifteen chicks.ManagementEach of the thirteen groups was housed in a floor pen bedded with wheat straw litter was used with a bird density 10 birds/ m². Ambient temperature: the starting temperature was 33°c and was gradually decreased 2 °c each week until reaching 18 °c at the 7Lighting system: continuous lighting was provided throughout the experiment.This work was done at the animal research unit at the Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine , Zagazig University.The experimental dietsThe diets were isocaloric , isonitrogenous in each stage and offered in mash form, the feed and water were provided ad-libitum along the duration of the trial .
