Abstract:
The chickens have a great importnce in human life as it is considered as one of the mean sources of establishment of food security and an excellent source of high quality and cheap animalprotein to meet the increasing demands of the consumers with an obvious deficiency in the average daily requirements from this proteinto conserve the general health. As infectious coryza is considered tobe one of the diseases that causes a great losses in poultry productionthis study is planned as an attempt to explain the following items:1) Studying the incidence rate of H. paragallinarum in both broilers and layers farms scattered all over DakhliaGovernorate. (2) Isolation and identification of Haemophilus paragallinarum by their morphological, biochemical and serological criteria ofidentification.
