Abstract:
The specific objectives of this study were done to isolate and identify microorganisms from broilers and their environment in three commercial broiler farms located around Zagazig city. Moreover, evaluating the efficiency of some commercial disinfectants I. Isolation and identification of microorganisms from broilers and their environment:Three broiler houses in Sharkia Governorate were examined during the period of 23/10/2000 to 23/5/2001.A total of 307 samples were collected from the examine farms, subjected to isolation and identification microorganisms from broiler environment (192) samples were taken from air (63), water (66) and litter (63). While from broiler organs (115) samples wer1- Highest body gain was obtained in first farm (490 gm) at 4th week of age, in second farm (450 gm) at 4th week of age and third farm (350 gm) at 5th week of age.2- Highest mortality was rate recorded in third farm 7.1% followed by second farm 7% lastly first farm 6.8%.
