Pathological Studies On Some Feed Additives For Droiler Chickens

Abstract:
Our work was held on two hundreds, one day old Hubbard chickens. Chicks were divided into three groups. Group one and 2 contain 80 chicks for each and the 3rd group is the control andcontains 40 chicks. Two experimental groups A and 8 were subdivided into 2 subgroups (A I and A2) and (81 and 82).Subgroup Al (40 chicks) each chick medicated with therapeuticdose of primalac one kg/tone ration for 40 days, subgroup A2 (40 chicks) each chick medicated with double therapeutic dose of primalac 2 kg/tone ration for 40 days. Subgroup 8 I (40 chicks) eachchick medicated with therapeutic dose of virginiamycin one kg/toneration for 40 days, subgroup B2 ( 40 chicks) each chick medicatedwith double therapeutic dose of virginiamycin 2 kg/tone ration for40 days. Gross and microscopic lesions in both subgroup 8 I and 82were sever nearly similar and represented by congestion in liver,kidneys, lungs and heart beside hemorrhagic spots on the serosa ofintestine. Shrunken spleen, enlarged bursa of Fabricius and subcapsular hemorrhages on the liver and kidneys were common. The last findings appear in both therapeutic and double therapeutic dose but it more prominent in double therapeutic medicated
