Abstract:
Avian Mycoplasmosis are considered one of the importanteconomic problems for chickens, therefore methods of controlshould be applied to protect against infection.This study included the following itemsExamination of broiler flocks including 200 chicks ofdifferent ages ranged from one day oldtill 48 days old obtainedfrom 10 different Governorates of Egypt. These flocks weresuffering from respiratory signs .Eighty (13.30/0) mycoplasma isolates were recovered out of600 samples collected from tracheae, lungs and air sacs from 200examined broiler chickens. The highest isolation rate was from 5-7weeks old chickens, while the lower rate from the 1-14 days oldchicks.The percentage of isolation of mycoplasma from lungstacheae, air sacs were 70/0 ,11.5 % and 21.5 % respectively.The isolates of M gallisepticum from the lungs ,tracheaeand air, sacs of the examined naturally infected broilers were35 (43.7) out of the total mycoplasma isolates.
