It was carried out in two trials, the first trial was to evaluate the effect of inclusion of the some by-products on the digestibility of the nutrientsand fiber fractions of the experimental diets used. The second trial aimed to evaluate the effect ofpartial replacement of hay (roughage) by the some agricul tural by-products such as sugar beet tops, suga r bee t pulp and fi 1 ter muds of sugar cane (Bee t . THE FIRST TRIAL:Samples of the by-products (dried sugar beet tops, dried sugar beet pulp, dried beet Misra) were final 1 y ground and p repa red for chemi cal analysis and estimated digestible energy values. After tha t the ra tions were formul ted and the by- products were partially replaced roughages at .
