Abstract:
CRD is known to be caused by Mycoplasma, bacteria like E.coli and respiratory virus, CRD causes many losses in production in meat and egg due to severe respiratory signs, so we found that rapid isolation and identification for rapid control is more necessMycoplasma isolated in percente of 22.7% out of 1000 sample of broilers and layers. The No. of examined organs from broilers was 400 , 84 of them are positive and gives a percentage of 21%. The organs taken are trachea 15% , sinus 20% , lung 26% and air sThe isolated Mycoplasma percentages were 96.4% from broilers and 98.6% from layers. This was done by using biochemical tests for differentiation between Mycoplasma & Acholeplasma .By serological identification, isolated Mycoplasma differentiated to 20.5% (MG) in broilers and 23.8% in layers but M.gallinarum 0.5% in broilers and 0.83% in layers .
