Abstract:
Results of this work were built upon the data collected from different broiler and layer farms located in Dakahlia, sharkia and Ismalia govemorates. Statistically and economical analysis were done to investigate the following points :-1- Economic and productive efficiency of veterinary inputs in poultry farms2- Efficiency of using different production resources on poultry farming for meat and egg production.3- Factors affecting returns, costs and income from poultry productionincluding years, seasons, breeds and Localities.The (ollowiilg results were obtained: A. Broilers,’ Results are summarized in the following points1- The amount of total ration consumed ranged from 343.76 to 429.7 kg / 100 birds.2- Feed efficiency ranged from 0.38 to 48.3- The value of total veterinary medicaments ranged from 2.29 to 9.48 LE/lOO birds.4- Total broiler production ranged from 21l.8 to 867.02 kg /l 00 broilers. 5- Marketing age ranged from 5l.08 to 54.1 days.
