Some Studies on Unthriftiness in Cross Breed Calves

This study was conducted to obtain more information about unthriftiness of crossbred calves under Egyptian environmental conditions. A total number of 105 crossbred calves (Friesian x Native) of both sexes were selected from EL-Salam Private Farm behind TAlso, skin scraping were taken from animals with areas of alopecia for detection of presence or absence of external parasites. Samples of hair, drinking water and ration were taken foranalysis of some trace elements. After clinical, parasitological, bacterial laboratory confirmations and hematological analysis, in addition to skin scraping, serum and hair analysis, the examined calves were classified according to their physiological an
