Abstract:
The aim of the present work is to follow up the possible effects of Ivermectin with and without previous administration of Zinc chloride (injection s/c) and Zinc acetate (drinking water) on the following biochemical monitors:I. General body metabolic biochemical monitors:-A. Growth rate percentage (%).B. Dressing percentage (%).C. Relative weights of internal organs.II. Blood biochemical monitors:-A. Haematological examinations which include:-1. Determination of total white blood corpuscular (W.B.Cs)count.2. Determination of total red blood corpuscular (R.B.Cs) count.3. Determination of haemoglobin (Hb) concentration.4. Determination of platelets (PL) count.B. Enzymes which include:-1. Serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP; EC 3.1.3.1).2. Serum gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT; EC 2.3.2.2).3. Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT; EC.2.6.1.1).4. Serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST; EC .2.6.1.1).C. Serum lipids profile which include:-1. Total lipids.2. Triglycerides.3. Total cholesterol.D. Serum protein profile which include:-1. Total protein.2. Albumin.3. Globulin.4. A/G ratio.E. Serum minerals which include:-1. Calcium (Ca).2.
