Abstract:
The present wark was planned to Atotal number of 42 dairy buffalo-cows at Sharkia Governorate were used in thisinvestigation. These animals are classified into the followinggroups.GIA : (n =13) normal birth with normal DROP of placenta.Which is injected with PGF2 a dirctly after birth and GnRH at day 21 postpartum.GIB: (n=7) normal birth and normal DROP of placenta and not injected.GIIA : (n=13) abnormal birth with retained placenta and injected with PGF2 a directly after birth and GnRH at day 21 post partum .GIIB : (n=9) abnormal birth with retained placenta and not injectedAll animals were examined rectally after calving at days 1,3,6,9,15,21 and 30 post partum to follow up the uterineinvolution and examined bacteriologically directly after birthand at day 30 post partum . Also auterine biopry samples weretaken from each animals at day 30 postpartum for histopathalogical examination.1- The results of these study revealed the following :-
