Abstract:
The present work was planned to study some biochemical alter-ations in metalloproteins in rabbit during pregnancy.We investig-ate the important metalloproteins associated with iron -copper;metabolism ,distribution ,and with their interaction ,in rabbitduring pregnancy.Ten healthy New Zealand white rabbits were selected andkept under good hygienic condition. Rabbits are fed abalancedcommercial ration .Small amounts of various trace elements arefrequently added to diet to ensure against any deficiencies ,andthen it is fed free -choice . The nutritional requirement of rabbitsare controlled and published according to the National ResearchCouncil (NRC) in the series Nutritional Requirement for Domest-ic Animals 1977.Rabbits were divided into 2 main groups; five female animalsas control, five female animals as pregnant group, also five maleanimals only used for mating to ensure occurring of pregnancy.Blood samples were obtained mainly from marginal ear vein .The collected blood samples were taken in 2 groups of clean dry
