Abstract:
This work was planed to study the effect of experimental atherosclerosis (induced either by vitamin D2 or stress due to adrenaline injection in organs of albino rats. One hundred clinically healthy albino rats 250 gm body weightwere divided into 3 groups. Group 1 injected with vitamin D2 7.S mg/kg b.wt/I.M. Groups 2 injected with adrenaline 0.6 mg/kg intraperitoneal. Group 3 kept as control for the experiment. Twenty albino rats from group 1 and 2 and 10 rats from group 3 were srespiratory rate with some mortalities (1 and 1 rats on 9th and lothday). Macroscopically, the mucus membranes appeared pale withslightly enlarged and pale kidneys, liver, enlargement with hemorrhagic patches, pneumonia area, hypertrophied
