Abstract:
This study was carried out to evaluate both therapeutic drugs andvaccination programs for prevention of Salmonellosis and E.coli infectionby treatment of infected chickens with both E.coli and salmonellamicroorganisms using three highly sensitive antibiotics ( Norfloxaccin ,Lincospectin and Marbofloxacine) .Probiotics and vaccination with recentlyproduced vaccines were also used and evaluation of antibody titer andprotection percent after challenge were recorded. The result revealed:I-In the first group chicks infected at one day old with E.coli serotypes 01,02, 078 the protection percent ranged from (60%- 100%) withNorfloxacine and Lincospectine Table (19), and reisolation percentdecrease range from (70-24).While in case of Salmonella pullorum and Salmonella enteritidis078 theprotection percent ranged. from (80%- I 00%) with Norfloxacine andLincospectine Table (19). While reisolation percent decrease range from(60-lO). 2- In the second group chicks infected at 10 day old with E. coli serotypes01, 02, 078 the protection percent ranged from (80%- 100%) withNorfloxacine , Lincospectine and Marbofloxaccine Table (20) , andreisolation percent decrease range from (56-20)While in case of Salmonella pullorum and Salmonella enteritidis078 the protection percent ranged from (80%-lOO%) with Norfloxacine ,Lincospectine and Marbofloxacine Table (20) While reisolation percentdecrease range from (28-8).
