Abstract:
Danofloxacin is a new fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent used in theveterinary field for prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases ofherbivores, swines and poultry. In poultry, danofloxacin is used for thecontrol of mycoplasmosis and colibacillosis affecting poultry industry that causes major economic losses.The in-vitro susceptibility of eight native strains of avian origin wasselenium at day (0) before mating, at 7th day of pregnancy, at 14th dayof pregnancy, at 21st day of pregnancy, 28th day of pregnancy, and after parturition at32nd and 37th day.We observed that: Cholesterol : showed significant decreased at the day 14 th , 21 st and 28th of pregnancy ,the levels returned near to the normal values at the day 32 nd after parturition.
