This study was conducted on 868 buffaloes at the age of3-5 years (170 from the farm of the Faculty of Veter inary~dicine, Suez Canal University and 698 from EI-Khattarafarm) in addition to 197 buffalo heifers at the age of 24 to32 months (60 from the Faculty farm and 137 from EI-Khattarafarm). All these animals were examined for pregnancy and thenon pregnant animals were examined 160-180 days aftercalving 3 times with 7-10 days intervals to confirm theovar ian state. The conception rate was calculated in both farms. Itwas 74.10 and 63.75 % in the Faculty and El-Khatara farms, respecti vely. The serum analysis regarding serum total protein, Ca,P, Cu, Zn, Mn, Se, T and T in both pregnant and infertile9 ••animals has been done to shed light upon the deviatien thatmay occur in these parameters in cases of infertility. Itrevealed that heifers with smooth inactive ovary inEI-Khattara farm showed a significant decrease of serum Ca,inorganic P, Cu and T as well as serum total protein thanpregnant heifers. There was a significant decrease of serum inorganic P,and T3 in buffaloes suffering from smooth inactive ovary atthe Faculty farm, while in El-Khattara farm there was alsoin addition, a significant decrease of serum Ca.In repeat breeder buffaloes in the Faculty farm therevas a significant decrease of serum content in totalprotein, Ca, P and T with non significant variations of Cu,Zn, Mn, Se and T serum levels than the pregnant buffaloes.
