Abstract:
The aim of this work was to study pasteurelosis in rabbits with specialreference to rnicroclimatic conditions. Two big rabbit farms at Sharkia were studiedover a period of one year from January 1994 to December 1994. The study. included and revealed :I Microclimatic Conditions :1. Temperature:The highest temperature recorded was 39 CO recorded in April and thelowest 11 C” recorded in January.2. Relative Humidity:The highest was 96 % recorded in January. While the lowest was 50 %recorded in July.3. Ammonia Concentrations:The highest was 52. P.P.m recorded in September, while the lowest was21p.p.m. recorded in May.11 Morbidity and Crude Mortality :The highest morbidity rate was 23.6 % recorded in November, while thelowest was 10.4 % recorded in June.The highest crude mortality in litter was 30% recorded in December, whilethe lowest was 12.2 % recorded in July. In preweaners the highest crude mortalitywas 21.4 % recorded in January, while the lowest was 14.5 % recorded in June. Inadult the highest crude mortality was 5.6 % recorded in December, while thelowest was 2.2 % recorded in June.
