Abstract:
One hundred and sixty albino rats were divided into four equalgroups A, B, C and D. Each group was subdivided into four subgroups1,2,3 and 4 each of ten rats for the experiment. Rats in each subgroupwere scarified after the last day of injection.Group A:Subgroup 1, rats were injected IIM with therapeutic dose (1.35mg/rat/day) from diclofenac sodium, twice weekly for one month.Subgroup 2, rats were injected IIM with therapeutic dose of diclofenacsodium, twice weekly for two months. Subgroup 3, rats were injectedI1M with therapeutic dose of diclofenac sodium, twice weekly for threemonths. Subgroup 4, rats were daily injected IM with therapeutic dose ofdiclofenac sodium for one month.Group B:Subgroup 1, rats were injected IIM with therapeutic dose (00.36mg/rat/day) oftenoxicam, twice weekly for one month. Subgroup 2, ratswere injected tenoxicam, twice weekly for two months Subgroup 3, ratswere injected IIM with therapeutic dose oftenoxicam, twice weekly forthree months. Subgroup4, rats were daily injected IIM with therapeuticdose of tenoxicam for one month.
