Abstract:
Coccidiosis is the most serious disease which affects rabbits in different ages and it is responsible for highmortality in rabbits all over the world including Egypt. The present study was carried out to evaluate of counter-immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA for immunodiagnosis of circulatingantibodies and antigens of rabbits experimentally infected with Eimeriastiedae.Sixty healthy rabbits of ( 5 weeks old) ,proved to be parasitic freewere used ~ 50 rabbits were used for experimental study and divided into5 groups, each group contained of 10 rabbits and additional 10 rabbitswere left as non infected control. Each rabbit was given orally by meansof stomach tube, 2 ml , 10,000 infective sporulated oocysts of Eimeriastiedae.Blood samples were collected from the ear vein of each rabbit ineach group on 5 , 10 , 15 , 20 , 30 days respectively and also from thecontrol group. Then the sera were separated and kept at -20 QC till use.The sera were calorimetrically analyzed by the aid of spectro- photometer to determine total bilirubin ( TB ) , AST and AL T . Also thetotal protein ( TP ) , albumin ( A) and AP . Two rabbits from each infected group were sacrificed after 5, 10,15, 20, 30 days post-infection for histopathological study
