The positive cases were 130 out of 1000 camels. The prevalence of hydatidosis was 7.8%, Fascioliasis was 0.3%, bacterial infections were 3.1%, fungal affections were 1.3%, metabolic changes were 0.30/0 and miscellaneous changes were 0.2%. The lesion of hydatidosis, in camels infested with hydatid cyst, represented by large cystic cavity (viable cyst) which represented by thinhomogenous eosinophilic sheets followed by moderately thick fibrous tissuecapsule infiltrated with lymphocytes and macrophages and containing manycongested capillaries. The other hydatid cyst was degenerated cyst whichshowed focal caseated mass containing reminant of dead and livingneutrophils, lymphocytes and macrophages surrounded by thick zone of aggregated lymphocytes, macrophages and eosinophils.
