Abstract:
This study evaluated the repair response during 180 days after implantation of a small perichondrial piece of the last true right rib into 3.8 x 5 mm osteochondral defects. The latter were drilled into the center of the trochlear groove of the distal extrmm to 3.2 mm at 45 days, 3 mm at 90 days and reached 2.5 mm at 180 days post-operation.
