Abstract:
Today, one of the serious problems in the world is environmentalpollution. The extensive use of molluscicides in Egypt has causedmany problems due to contamination of the environment especiallythe aquatic system. The exposure of fish to molluscicides (Bay luscideand Copper sulphate) constitute one of the important factorsresponsible for the great losses of good source of animal protein.The continuous misuse of molluscicides causes toxicity or deathnot only to snails but also to fish, most of these chemicals could beaccumulated in flesh of fish so poisoning of human beings feeding onmolluscicides exposed fish can be awaited.The present study was carried out at Fish Research CenterFaculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, to investigate.1- The acute and subchronic toxicity of Bayluscide and coppersulphate in some reared fish.2- Clinical signs, postmortem findings and histopathologicalexaminations were done.3- The use of some growth promotants were tested in Tilapia fish.1- Bayluscide toxicity:1- Acute toxicity: Mortality rate of at
