Abstract:
The present study was designed to study the effect of narasin and nsin-nicarbazin combination given in their prophylactic regimen on ay performance, blood picture, serum electrolytes, clinical and topathological profiles.) Oocyst count: Narasin and narasin-nicarbazin combination given to chickens rerimentally infected with E.tenella field strain elicited a significant auction in the oocyst count from the 6th day post infection.Administration of narasin-nicarbazin combination completely minated the oocyst count on the 9th day post infection while narasin mpletely eliminated the oocysts count on the tz” day post infection. I) Body weight, weight gain and gain percent:Administration of either narasin or narasin-nicarbazin combinationoked a significant .increase in the body weight and weight gainmpared with the control non treated group. Administration of either narasin or narasin-nicarbazin combinationchickens experimentally infected with E.tenella provoked a significantrease in the body weight and weight gain compared with infected nonnted birds. J Feed consumption and conversion rate: Narasin and narasin-nicarbazin combination provoked a lower feed.
