Clinicopathological studies on the effect of some antihistamine and antiserotonin drugs in albino rats

The present work was performed to study the effect ofantihistaminic drugs such as chloropheniramine maleate (H1blocker), Cimetidine ( H2 blocker) and the antiserotonin drug. asfluoxetineonsome biochemical parameters, blood picture,of albino rats beside the associated histopathological changes.Ninety healthy albino rats of both sexes were used in thisstudy. They were divided into 9 groups, each group of 10 ratsGroup(1) is control , Group (2) injected histamine 111v1Group (3) injected histamine followed by H, blocker(chloropheniramine) l/M therapeutic dose. Group (4) injectedhistamine followed chloropheniramine double dose Group .(5)injected histamine followed oral therapeutic dose of Cimetidine(H2 blocker).
