Abstract:
Summary :- Aflatoxins are one of the prevalent mycotoxins and the most foodcontaminant. Responsible for the high mortality, health problems inthe poultry with heavy economic losses in the live stock and poultryindustry. The hatching broiler chicks are considered the most sensitiveto AF -contamination of feed stuffs. Both acute and chronicaflatoxicosis poisoning has marked adverse effect on the bodyImmune system (immunosuppression), due to impair immuneresponse and native defense mechanism, where AF produce severedeleterious effects on cell-mediated immunity and humoral immunitywhich enhancing secondary invaders. The present work was performed to study the effect of AFB 1 oncellular, humoral immunity and correlate it with the histopathologicalchanges in different lymphoid organs. These study applied on 75 one-day old broiler chicks and included two experiments. The first experiment consist of 30 chicks subdivided into 3 equalstudy groups were fed ration containing (0.5 mg AFB1/kg feed) everyday for 2, 4 and 6 weeks respectively in group 1, 2 and group 3.The second experiment consist of 30 chickens were alsosubdivided into 3 equal study groups. The chicks were fed on dietcontaminated with (1 mg AFB1/kg diet) every day for 2, 4 and 6weeks respectively in group 4, 5 and group 6.
