The Development of the Male Genitalia of the Rabbit With Reference to its Vasculature

The present study was carried out on 187 male balady rabbits ranging10 days-old of the prenatal life, till reaching the maturity age (4-6months-old postnatally). The whole embryo and the caudal half of the foetusfrom the gonadal level were taken. Also, the postnatal organs of the malegenital system were fixed and prepared by different histological and somehistochemical techniques and were examined by light and binoculardissecting microscopes. The specimens used for the study of thevascularization of the male genital system either; prenatally or postnatally were injected by both Indian ink/serum and coloured milk latex. Some ofthese materials were injected by urovideo for angiographic study.
