Abstract:
27 horses were used in this study, divided into 8 groups, and thecontrol. The aim was to detect the quantitative changes of serum proteinpattern, and of immunoglobulins.Formalinized Past. multocidavaccine was injected SIC in the firstfour groups, it administered alone as in first group or with theimmunopotentiator ultracorn as in second group, 3 days before ultracorn as . in third group or 3 days after the ultracorn as in the fourth group, while the fifth group injected SIC with ultracorn alone, the sixth group injected I.Mwith aluminium phosphate adsorbed toxoid and the seventh and eighthwith ultracorn and purified tetanus toxoid in the former and adsorbedtoxoid in the later the control received nothing but all groups werereinjected again with the same materials, by the same quantities and route 6 weeks later. The results revealed that their were a significant differences in the mean of total serum protein in all test groups especially in the 6th and 8th < group. Results oan increase in the mean of total globulins mainly in the 6, 7 and 8th group which received adsorbed tetanus toxoid alone or with ultracorn, purified tetanus toxoid with ultracom. The highest concentration of total globulinswas recorded in the 2nd and 3rd week after primary vaccination in thedifferent test groups and at the 2nd and 6th week after boostering except inthe fifth group where the concentration starts in decrease from the 2ndweek post the secondary infection of vaccine.
